Blackpool Pleasure Beach, situated at the south end of Blackpool Promenade is the UK's biggest pleasure park and is the tournament's main sponser. Without their support, the tournament could not exist. The Tournament Organisers are delighted to have the support and co-operation of Blackpool Borough Council, particularly the Leisure and Community department and the Tourism department.

Nothing is too much trouble for the Council and they make sure that everything the organisers require is provided.

Another of the town's major leisure attractions, situated at the south end of the Promenade, the Sandcastle provides an excellent discount to tournament participants. a visit to this tropical water complex is a must for any visitor.

This excellent restaurant and bar provides excellent meals at a very reasonable cost for tournament participants. The ideal place to spend an hour or two during the event.

The management of the Shovels sponsor our event by providing meals for our referees and autographed footballs which are used as prizes at our opening reception.

St. John's Ambulance Corp ST. JOHN'S AMBULANCE CORP
Every year the Blackpool St. John's Ambulance Corp provide first aid cover throughout the tournament. They take care of every injury, slight and major, with speed, efficiency, and concern. The organisers, on behalf of the participants, thank this body for their continued outstanding service at the event.
DCRS DIRECT COMMUNICATIONS RADIO SERVICES LTD
An excellent two-way radio system is used during the event. This system is provided by DCRS in Sheffield at a greatly discounted price. We are grateful for the support given.

Archway ARCHWAY TRAVEL
Archway travel supply the shuttle buses for the Blackpool Cup. Their big red double deckers are a real asset to the event. Mike Archer cannot be more helpful and we hope to use his services for many years to come

Blackpool Mechanics FC BLACKPOOL MECHANICS FC
The Committee and members of Blackpool Mechanics FC are heavily involved in supporting the tournament. the finals are played on their enclosed ground and the clubhouse accommodation the tournament control and is open for use of participants throughout the event. Nothing is too much for Tommy Baldwin and his people. We are indeed privileged to have this club on board.
THE GROUND CREW
Jobs like putting up nets and maintaining them, corner flags, pitch boards, litter collection and numerous other unattractive jobs are carried out by our excellent ground crew Peter Howarth and Willie Aitkenhead. Graeme and his sons also do a great job looking after night security and cleaning up the site. Without these guys it would be a daunting task to prepare and look after a site the size of ours. Thanks, lads!

Every year a group of men do the most difficult job involved in football. They referee the matches. It's a thankless job where they can never please everyone. However, I am confident that our referees are honest and fair and that they do their best. The referees at this year's tournament are:
