Tournament Regulations

LIABILITY:
LOOK AFTER ALL YOUR PROPERTY AND VALUABLES

Do not leave anything in the dressing room areas, the marquee or around the pitches.
The Tournament Committee, the organisers, Blackpool Mechanics and Blackpool Borough Council are not responsible and cannot be held liable for loss of damage to your property or valuables, or those of any of your party, or injury to them.

REMEMBER, THE DRESSING ROOMS ARE NEVER LOCKED.

DISCIPLINE:
This subject will be mentioned several times throughout this information sheet. Last year, I am afraid to say, several teams' behaviour left a lot to be desired. We hope this will not be the case this year.

Clubs should be supervised and well disciplined at all times. Between matches an adult must be in charge of the players at all times. It is not acceptable for the adults to all retire to the bar leaving the players to their own devices until it is time for their next game. While we hope everyone will enjoy the hospitality of the host clubhouse, at least one adult must be responsible for the players.

Bad behaviour, on and off the pitch, cautions and sending-offs during the tournament will be reported to the Football Association who will notify the National Associations of the teams involved.

Unruly or intimidating behaviour towards the referee or the other team, by players, officials or spectators will not be tolerated. Incidents of this type will be dealt with very severely and offending teams could be expelled from the tournament.

We expect the leaders to set a good example.

LITTER:
Over the past two years, litter has become a major problem on the tournament site, especially around pitches and in the catering areas. While we do not expect teams to tidy up all the litter, we would like them to take the responsibility for making sure they leave the side of the pitch tidy at the end of each game. Just a few seconds can make the area tidier and safer.

In your information pack given to you on arrival, you will find a black plastic bag for litter. Please help us and clean up behind yourself.

OUT OF BOUNDS:
Last year players littered and ran through adjoining gardens and teams These areas are out of bounds, and it is your responsibility to make sure your players do not go into these areas.
Serious action will be taken against players and clubs who are caught in these areas.
